Susanna is an amazing therapist, who’s talents are match by her knowledge and unique ability to connect with patients through her passion for health and wellness. Susanna combines extensive, advanced therapeutic techniques from four different schools to take the body beyond relaxation, where healing can start. This includes a Restorative Deep Tissue Massage that integrates Thai Massage Techniques (Wat Po Massage School, Bangkok) with focus on Acupressure Points. Additionally, muscle and connective tissue tension are released by integrating soothing Shiatsu Techniques, Tui Na and Acupressure Oil Massage (to energize with deep release). As a special touch, hot stones and heated towels are incorporated to increase circulation. To clench her thirst for knowledge, Susanna continues to Thrive and go beyond the required continuing education classes. Susanna does not stop at massage, as she continues to take classes in Integrated Nutrition and Acupressure Yoga.

Charlene graduated from the National Holistic Institute and performs a variety of modalities which include Swedish, Shiatsu, Thai, Prenatal, Deep Tissue, Sports, Foot Reflexology, Lymphatic, Cranial/facial and Professional Bodywork Strategies (PBS) which implements tense-relax stretches, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) to increase range of motion (ROM). Her compassion for people living with cancer prompted the additional courses taken at the Massage Therapy Institute for Oncology Massage. Massage for People living with Cancer© and Oncology Massage 1-Blending East with West™ by instructor, Isabel Adkins. This protocol massage aids clients with any stage of cancer whether active, in remission or in treatment by providing a relaxing massage with light touch. The techniques designed ensure a safe application, combining acupressure and Reflexology skills. Charlene encourages and supports the quest in all fields of health for the spirit, mind and body.

Born and raised in San Jose, Brittany graduated from The National Holistic Institute for massage therapy in 2015. Brittany is trained in multiple modalities of massage, such as: Swedish, shiatsu, deep tissue, sports massage, myofascial, pre- & post-natal, as well as lymphatic and chair massage. Shortly after graduation, she spent 7 months on the big island of Hawaii for 7 months, and enjoys doing a type of massage known as Lomi Lomi. While trained in full body, maintenance and recovery, her favorite body work to do is neck massage.

Linda is a native of North Carolina and has practiced massage therapy for over seven years. Linda believes that massage is an important ingredient in maintaining your body’s health. It affords you the opportunity to slow down and relax, allowing you time to reconnect with your body and mind. From a physical perspective, massage also reduces stress, increases blood circulation, assists in muscle repair and helps maintain your body’s full range of motion. By listening to and assessing your particular condition and circumstances, Linda tailors each session to meet your individual needs. In doing so, she combines several modalities. Linda is a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist with over 500 hours of training at the Body Therapy Center in Palo Alto, CA. She is an experienced therapist will customize your massage session to accommodate your individual needs.

Kathleen has had a massage therapy practice in the Bay Area since 1993. Her training was in Cotati, CA near Santa Rosa. For 9 years she served at the Southwest YMCA as a volunteer giving free massages for 2 hours each week. She is also certified in Jin Shin Jyutsu, which she studied in Arizona. Other continuing education includes aromatherapy seminars (one of which was in France) and Bach Flower Remedy seminars. After 19 years Kathleen’s touch is firm, but with feedback the touch can be softened.

Samantha graduated from National Holistic Institute for Massage Therapy and specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports Injury, Swedish, Myofascial as well as chair massages. She enjoys helping patients promote a sense of relaxation and well being while reducing tension and anxiety that can occur with our day to day activity in the bay area. She works flexible evening hours during the weekdays and Saturdays to accommodate patients who can’t come in during the week.

Marilyn is a Natural Healer, Certified Massage Therapist & Health Educator. She obtained her license at the National Holistic Institute of Massage in 2019. Her focus is relaxation and therapeutic massage. She primarily work with people who experience pain and or discomfort from musculoskeletal dysfunctions injuries due to repetitive stress, poor posture, and traumatic injuries. She customizes her sessions to your individual needs, and has a very caring, professional presence.

Cecilia earned her Doctorate Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University, right here in San Jose. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Cecilia is a licensed Acupuncturist through the California Acupuncture Board, and has a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine. Cecilia also has Adult Education Teaching Credentials through the State of California, and is trained in CPR and First Aid, certified through the American Heart Association. The following is the list of common disorders treated by Cecilia:

  • Respiratory disorders: allergic rhinitis, asthma, common cold: cough, sore throat, bronchitis.
  • Musculo-skeletal: frozen shoulder, stiff neck, low back pain, osteoarthritis and joint pain, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia syndrome
